In this interdisciplinary competition, our team of project management, architecture, interior design, and construction management students designed a 40 acre sustainable and transformative community in Lebanon, TN. Our team developed site plans, home plans, and execution plans for Market Square and presented our proposal to a panel of professionals at the International Builders Show in Las Vegas, NV. Our team placed 3rd overall.

"The annual NAHB Student Competition is one of the highlights of the International Builders' Show (IBS). The competition gives students the opportunity to apply skills learned in the classroom to a real construction company by completing a management project/proposal. Proposals are submitted to a group of construction company executives who act as judges. At IBS, students defend their proposals to the judges in front of an audience."
